Synopsis[]
Determined to avoid romantic chaos and learn more about her mom, Kitty returns to Seoul. But with new roommates and unresolved crushes, it's complicated.
Plot[]
One month later, Kitty is back at K.I.S.S. after Yuri called in a favor with her mom. Kitty is determined to make the most of this second chance and to try harder in her classes this semester. Professor Lee takes over as Principal following Principal Lim’s scandal, which cost the school some students and donors, causing him to have to take certain unexpected measures to get more money to support the school.
Kitty catches up with Q and they run into Dae and Min Ho, who awkwardly runs away. Dae is still in love with Kitty and feels guilty about the awkwardness between her and Min Ho. Meanwhile, Yuri and Juliana are reunited and surprise Kitty with the news that they’ll be sharing a dorm room with her. Kitty is surprised as she was hoping for a single room to focus on her studies. Watching Yuri and Juliana together stirs up Kitty’s unresolved feelings, making the situation even harder for her. They also have a new fourth roommate, Stella Cho. Kitty tries to switch rooms, telling Principal Lee it’s to avoid distractions, and he considers her request.
Kitty digs deeper into her late mom’s past - tracking a clue about a mysterious "Simon". Principal Lee reveals that Eve had a falling out with her parents over moving to Korea, which contradicts Kitty’s belief that her mom and grandmother were always close. Kitty’s curiosity grows, especially after a call to her grandmother about Eve ends with her abruptly hanging up.
Meanwhile, Yuri is dealing with her own family drama— her parents are divorcing, and her mom is away at a retreat in Thailand. Yuri hosts a dinner with all of their friends, which Kitty reluctantly attends. At the event, Dae urges Kitty to clear the air with Min Ho, who’s been avoiding her and acting like he’s over her, even while questioning if she might still like him.
At dinner, Yuri gives an emotional speech about the importance of the “family” she’s found at K.I.S.S., inspiring Kitty to reconsider switching rooms. Kitty decides to stay and tells Yuri that she’s bisexual. Yuri is supportive, sharing her struggles with her own parents’ lack of acceptance.
Stella shows interest in Min Ho and Kitty gives her his number. However, a suspicious call Stella receives hints that she might not be who she appears to be but rather someone named Esther.
