Min Ho Moon[1] is one of the main characters in the Netflix original series XO, Kitty. He is the son of Dami and Young Moon. He is Dae Heon Kim and Q Shabazian's best friend. He is portrayed by Sang Heon Lee.
Background[]
He is an ultra-privileged guy who is used to getting his way, especially after his parents’ very messy divorce left him to his own devices most of the time. Min Ho is currently a KISS student. He is Dae and Q’s roommate and the son of a famous actress. Min Ho later develops romantic feelings for Kitty.
Personality[]
Min Ho is caring, flirty, funny and stylish. While it may seem as though Min Ho cares more about skincare routine than anything else, he’s actually fiercely loyal to his friends, including longtime buddy Dae Heon Kim.

Min Ho is a South Korean teenage boy with black hair, brown eyes and fair skin. Min Ho is quite stylish and is the kind of guy who takes immaculate care of his skin and is surrounded by girls who want to date him. He is also fit; sporting and lean built.

Season 1[]
Min Ho first meets Kitty with an awkward encounter at the airport, where Min Ho pretends not to speak English after bumping into Kitty. Later at KISS, he learns that she’s Dae’s pen pal and girlfriend, and he encourages Dae to break up with her, seeing their relationship as fake. Despite spending more time together in the dorm, Min Ho remains hostile, even informing Yuri about Dae and Kitty being in the same club to prevent them from getting closer.
The turning point comes during the Chuseok Holiday when Kitty organizes a dinner for the students staying at school, and Min Ho helps her with Korean cuisine. They bond over their parents and love lives, and later, Min Ho asks Kitty for help when he gets sick, leading to a tender moment. He begins to develop feelings for her, which are intensified when he has a sex dream about her. After a jealousy-fueled night where he sees Kitty with Dae, he hooks up with Madison, only to realize he wants something more meaningful.
Min Ho starts to realize his feelings for Kitty. During the talent show, he saves her from a fire caused by an accident during her performance. Kitty, in turn, admits to Dae that she has feelings for someone, which leads to a fight between them. Eventually, Min Ho confesses his love to Kitty on an airplane, but she rejects him.
Season 2[]
After his confession, Min Ho navigates his complex feelings for Kitty. He is initially shown to have lingering feelings for Kitty and tries his best to avoid her. Despite his attempts to move on, Min Ho finds himself still emotionally connected to Kitty, but he tries to push his feelings aside because Dae still likes her. However, after Dae finds out Min Ho's true feelings he feels betrayed and pushes Min Ho away. Min Ho tries to find a way to get Dae to forgive him but it's hard.
His father, Mr. Moon, comes to K.I.S.S. unexpectedly and accepts a teaching position. However, he is later involved in a scandal that affects the reputation of their family. Min Ho's relationship with his father is strained, especially as he feels the weight of expectations placed on him to conform to his family's ideals.
In terms of his romantic life, Min Ho finds himself caught between his feelings for Kitty and his relationship with Stella (whose real name is Esther), a new student at K.I.S.S. Min Ho initially doesn’t realize that Stella has ulterior motives, as she attempts to manipulate him in order to exact revenge on Mr. Moon for past wrongs. As the season progresses, Min Ho becomes more aware of Stella's true intentions, and he finds himself reluctantly agreeing to go along with her schemes to protect those he cares about.
At the singing content, he eventually decides to come clean to his father, revealing everything about Stella’s manipulation. They figure out a way to manage the situation. Min Ho and Stella break up and he and Dae finally make up.

Dae Heon Kim[]
Dae is Min Ho's best friend and roommate. In the first episode of season 2 K.I.S.S. Me Again Min Ho is very awkward when Dae talks about Kitty which leads Dae to believe that Min Ho is still upset about him threatening him.
Then in Kiss and Tell, Dae overhears Min Ho telling Stella about his plane confession to Kitty. He gets upset and yells at Min Ho and refuses to speak with him. This was not their first time fighting though as mentioned they were childhood best friends and often time getting into arguments as Kitty Brings up
in Kissing Cousins when she says to Dae that he (Dae) had told her about a fight when they were 7. Dae also mentions in Kissing Cousins that he sees Min Ho as selfish and says that by making Kitty ask Dae for his forgiveness this only further proves his point. Kitty then tells Min Ho that he doesn't have to worry about the consequences of his actions like Dae does and this sometimes causes him(Min Ho) to act on impulse. This helps Min Ho realize his mistake and try to apologize.
They eventually make up during Min Ho's dad's party while listening to karaoke and when Stella tries to sabotage Dae's performance in Sealed with a Kiss. Min Ho helps Kitty and the others save his performance.

Q is Min Ho's best friend and roommate.

Kitty is Min Ho's frenemy and current crush.
They met for the first time at the airport, when Min Ho bumped into Kitty. When she asked him if he went to KISS because of his KISS badge, he pretended to not know English.
Later at KISS , when he found out she was Dae's pen pal and girlfriend he encouraged him to dump her and not waste his chance with Yuri, instead of focusing on a relationship which "wasn't real".
Even after they spend more time together in the dorm, he doesn't hide his hostility towards her and he even goes as far as telling Yuri about Dae and Kitty being in the same club to stop them from interacting.
Things change during the Chuseok Holiday : Kitty organizes a dinner for everyone who stayed at school (though it's just an excuse to talk to Alex) and Min Ho decides to help Kitty considering her nonexistent knowledge of Korean cuisine. They end up talking about their parents and their love life and bonding ; that same night, Min Ho is the one who asks Kitty to help him when he gets sick because of the food and can't see Lulu like he planned, and when the plan succeeds, he's immensely grateful to her.
He starts to realize he's attracted to her when he has a sex dream about her and when he wants to flirt with her at his party, not noticing it was Kitty at first ; the very same night, he gets jealous seeing her talk with Dae and immediately accepts the proposal from Madison to hookup to avoid those feelings.
He starts seeing Madison and finds her surprisingly endearing, so much that he decides to make her a surprise during the trip (flower petals and champagne) and ask her to be his girlfriend ; he's stunned when Madison arrives late and refuses, saying she doesn't want something serious and is only down for hookups. Min Ho realizes then he wants something more and expresses his gratitude towards Madison for helping him realize so.
At the talent show, Kitty was dancing where she trips and sets off a fireworks display. Her clothes catch on fire as Min Ho runs on the stage to put it out. When Kitty confessed to Dae that she has feelings for someone, he assumed it was Min Ho, causing them to fight.
He meets up with Kitty in the airplane and explains that he's heading to Los Angeles to see his mom. Besides sitting at first class, he's in coach since he thought that she needed a friend to keep her company. When Kitty tells Min Ho that her and Dae are broken up for good, he confesses that he fell in love with her.
Unfortunately, as seen is the first episode of Season 2 K.I.S.S. Me Again , Kitty rejects his confession. Then upon seeing Kitty for the first time since his confession they look eyes and share a look before Min Ho grabs Dae and runs away. Min Ho is then awkward anytime Kitty is mentioned so then Dae asks Kitty to talk to Min Ho and she does. Min Ho tells Kitty that she was right and that it wasn't love it was just some silly crush. He then teases her about smiling saying that since she smiled at least a little bit of her must have been happy at his confession.
Q and Min Ho chatted about Kitty looking out for Min Ho since she is investigating his girlfriend. Min Ho doesn't want her to take care of him, ever since he humiliated himself at the airplane and the track meet, so Q asks him what he feels about her. He contends that he moved on and left. Later on, he meets Kitty with Jiwon and Halmoni at the market so as not to make her feel more confused.
During the Cherry Blossom Ball, Min Ho is waiting for Stella until Q asks him to dance with Kitty since she's leaving soon. Kitty and Min Ho slow danced together as she thanked him for being with her at the market. He knew he couldn't have done without his help. When Stella and Min Ho danced together, he remembers the warnings Kitty gave about Stella and finally realizes the truth.
On the day of the concert, Kitty notices Min Ho is being enclosed by Stella's manipulation. Since he couldn't stand up to his father about the truth, Kitty decides to help him to find the courage to reveal everything.
After the talent show, Kitty receives a message from Margot that her flight to Korea got canceled but he steps in to use his private jet to help reunite her family members.
Min Ho and Kitty discuss that he's done with relationships for now and plans to leave for Joon-ho's summer tour since it was a last-minute decision. Since Kitty returns to KISS again next year, they promise to see each other again. Both of them embrace, but as Min Ho is about to leave, Kitty asks if she can join him. He smiles and nods.
