Synopsis[]
Kitty pursues a new love interest, but a night of dancing spins into drama. A fierce competition emerges during class, and Q's track rival plays dirty.
Plot[]
Yuri is dealing with her strained relationship with her mom, who initially supported her coming out but refused to let her share the news with other family members. She pretends to have emailed her mom with a question about Kitty's mom but she lied because they aren't talking. Kitty calls her mom directly and learns something surprising- Simon, the man she believed to be her mother’s first love, was actually her cousin. This revelation deepens Kitty’s curiosity about her mother’s past.
Kitty gets asked out by a new love interest, Praveena. They go out to a club in Seoul, but Kitty sees Yuri and Juliana in a fight and gets distracted. Praveena realizes Kitty still has feelings for Yuri and decides to leave the club. However, Kitty asks her out for the next day hoping to start anew and Praveena agrees.
Juliana is also aware of Kitty’s crush on Yuri and uses one of Kitty’s own piece of advice as her owns. Yuri's mom eventually gives Yuri her full support but Juliana gets the credit for the idea to call her.
Min Ho went on a date with Stella but initially found her uninteresting. However, after seeing her stand up to his father, Min-ho gains a newfound appreciation for her and ends the night by kissing her.
Q competes against his track rival, Jin, who tricks him before the race. Despite Q’s best efforts—and Kitty faking a fainting spell on the track to distract Jin—he still loses. Later, while chatting with Q, Kitty inadvertently mentions Yuri and Juliana’s relationship. Principal Lee overhears and insists that one of them must move out of their shared dorm room.
