The grades are posted in the dorms, and because he cheated, Florian has come out as the number one student, even beating Dae. Q is annoyed that Florian stole Dae’s spot because that's his best friend.
Then Kitty runs over to see her results. She has passed her finals and will be staying. Q and Kitty celebrate before going back to hating each other. Kitty’s celebration catches the attention of the dorm staff, who now realize that she has been sleeping in the boy dorms.
Thus, Jina is forced to expel Kitty for this since has broken one of the rules of her scholarship. Dejected, Kitty goes back to her room to pack. Before leaving, she has her final meal in the cafeteria and only has Madison as the last person who still is talking to her. She decides to make one last big gesture and stands at the table to deliver a moving speech.
Kitty’s speech appears to fail though, and Alex urges her to come down. Alex and Kitty say their goodbyes.
Back at the dorm, Kitty says goodbye to Q and Min Ho.
Next, Jina says goodbye to Kitty. Jina admits that she liked Kitty’s speech, which got her quite emotional and left because she couldn't let the other students and teachers see her cry. The Principal then comments on how much Kitty is like her mom. Jina hands Kitty a letter from Eve. Kitty passes Jina her mixtape in return, the one from Professor Lee, her first true love.
Later, Dae checks his grades. He tells Q that because he has come in second, he will be losing his room and board scholarship. Q informs him that Kitty has been expelled. But she left im her necklace as a parting gift.
Dae performs a last-minute airport dash with his dad's help to go and win back Kitty before she leaves. At the airport, Kitty and Dae are reunited.
Kitty says how she doesn’t regret her relationship with Dae or traveling halfway across the world for love. He was her perfect first boyfriend, but it is time to move on. In the end, the two realize they are better off as friends for now, and break up.
Dae then says that Kitty was his first love, and they end their goodbye with a parting kiss.
Next, Kitty sees Yuri at the airport. She goes to declare her love to the other girl, but Yuri is there to greet Juliana. Yuri reunites with Juliana, leaving Kitty heartbroken so she walks away.
Before they leave the airport, Yuri calls her mom, and tells her how she is making a big mistake in expelling Kity.
On the plane, Kitty reads through Eve’s letter. As it turns out, Her mother had a similar experience to the one Kitty had. She mentions a student called Simon, who Kitty thinks was Eve’s first love.
Eventually, she ends up fighting with the other passenger over the arm rest, who turns out to be Min Ho is sitting next to her. He explains how he is heading to Los Angeles to be with his mom. But that he is in coach, rather than first class because he thought she'd need a friend to keep her company. Eventually, Kitty tells Min Ho, how she and Dae did make up, but are broken up for good. Which leads Min Ho to confess that he is in love with Kitty as well. She is stunned to hear this and doesn’t quite know how to respond. So now she’s got a long flight to mull this revelation over.
